Panera Bread - Sykesville

I received an email saying my online order was ready, but when I arrived, it wasn't available, so I had to go to the counter. However, the staff were very helpful in answering my questions about the ingredients, which allowed me to stick to my vegan diet. There are plenty of great options to choose from.

The staff was very friendly, and the service was fast. The food met my expectations and was quite good. I've noticed that at Panera, as in many restaurants, the quality of service and food often hinges on management. This location appears to be doing things right.

I never thought I would be writing a negative review for Panera, but I've encountered some rude staff at the register recently. My husband and I decided to visit Panera after waiting too long for our orders, even on slow days. I love the food and used to frequent this place, but that’s changing now. The employee at the register, whose name was Amanda according to the sign at the entrance, was incredibly unfriendly. We stood in front of her while she and two young men ignored us to chat personally. Even as we placed our order, she continued her conversation, completely disregarding us. She casually leaned her leg on the counter, making it clear that we were ruining her day while she lamented about not wanting to work there. I can tolerate long waits and crowded tables as long as the staff is friendly, but I shouldn’t feel bad just ordering lunch.

Cashiers are more and more helpful. The people who make the food have no idea what? Treat special instructions if it is not allergy. Stingy on toppings.

This is a different type of review. You see I was there yesterday and almost chocked to death on a hard piece of bread. Thanks to my dear friend, management, a cashier and a patron I am OK. Everyone was quick to respond and the patron gave me the heimlich move and probably saved my life. I am grateful to all and thank you from the depths of my heart. And yes I highly reccomend this Panera restaurant.
