New Win Long Chinese - Sykesville

Wow! That was probably the worst dining experience I've ever had. First, I was put on hold twice while trying to place my order, which should have been a red flag to order from somewhere else. Second, I was overcharged, and when I called to address the issue, the owner accused me of lying, even though I had noted the total when I placed my order on the phone. The food not only arrived incorrectly, but the items that were correct were served cold and unappetizing. There was no apology or acknowledgment of the issues from either the staff or the owner—nothing when I was on hold and no response when I called with my long list of complaints.

The orange chicken was not good at all. It tasted overly sweet, almost like it was made with a pound of sugar! The pieces were huge too, which was quite funny. The food took a long time to arrive, but I can understand that; they probably used every grain of sugar in the western hemisphere for that dish and had to order more from China by barge! However, I want to end this review on a positive note: the beef lo mein was delicious! A small portion felt like a complete meal.

I reaply like this place because the food did not give this strange chalky texture and the staff are very nice. Also the inside of this store is very nice look they have a really cool fish tank.

The original New Win Long restaurant in Carroll Towne Mall served the best Chinese food I have ever tasted. I developed a good relationship with the owners, and their dishes were simply extraordinary. When they couldn't renew their lease, they relocated to a spot on Liberty Rd. However, everything changed once they sold the restaurant. The quality of the food took a noticeable decline. I'm not sure what went wrong; they had all the original recipes but, over time, the food just became unappetizing. I was heartbroken because the New Win Long restaurant had been my favorite dining spot for years. I truly miss the delicious food and the wonderful atmosphere of the original establishment.

Been coming here since I was a kid (quite a long time ago) and have consistently enjoyed the fare. They make things exactly how I ask for if and don't mess around with the portions. Serving sizes are generous, everything on the menu down to the fresh sushi is delicious. Best place around for miles.
