We found the spice and herbs very well balanced especially the different sauces that complement the dish. The only disappointment was the dessert we had. It was Black Sesame Pudding with corn, shredded coconut and ice cream The pudding was bland and starchy. Overall we enjoyed our lunch today. The restaurant was conveniently located just 5 minutes from Town Hall Station. The prices there are very reasonable.
Went here on a set menu voucher for two. The banquet included papaya salad with crab, crab rolls, betel leaves, duck curry, pork, chicken and sticky rice pudding for an amazing price, the food was just amazing, innovative dishes, well presented and delicious! The interior is recycled industrial, looks really cool. Great staff who really need to be praised in this review. There was no waiting for service or for the meals. Ten out of ten, OHBAR! I will be back!
They serve good and delicious food which we thoroughly enjoy. Would recommend the black pepper soft shell crab dish and the fried barramundi fish with mango salad.Location very near to Travelodge Hotel and facing Hype Park.Good service from the staff there with friendly atmosphere. We were recommended some dishes by the diners there while waiting for our table to be ready.
I reckon this is one of the best prawn Pad Thai in Australia. They do not only have great presentation but definitely taste great too. In addition, they have great customer service. I have been to this restaurant at least three times and only 1 dish that we didn't like which was green curry chicken cause too oily for our liking. Still taste good but just too oily. I can list this restaurant as one of our favourite Thai.
First time we went enjoyed our meal and the service. All was good. We order an entree of prawn cakes, the picture showed two for $4 cost....and they were delicious. The night after we decided to go back again......but this time we ordered TWO serves of prawn cakes, 4 prawn cakes , 2 ladies one serve each.....eventually we were served one plate with TWO prawn cakes , then the rest of our meal came and we let it go....but on going to pay we asked about the second serve and were told that they thought one serve enough......on checking the bill to make sure we hadn't been overcharged, WOW, they had charged us $10 for the one serve....when questioned we were told each prawn cake is $4.....and they gave us back $2. cash.....I wasn't happy the serve was shown as two and the price was $4.....the menu didn't say anything about being a set price for one being $4. I felt cheated , the Chef/owner wouldn't come and talk to us so all in all it spoilt our what was a lovely dining experience to a "not going back there" experience..
