The Dining Room, Park Hyatt Sydney

The white wine initially ordered was apparently out of stock, but instead of being brought the wine list we were first brought a bottle of red, then a bottle of white. Otherwise, food was very good as was the music.

We have had many special lunches at the Park Hyatt, this wasn't one. The room in my opinion, was crowded, the wait staff were inexperienced, which at culminated in our waiter dropping food and crockery in to my lap. The food was average turkey undercooked and other items cold. All in all a very poor experience.

I requested a table by the window a couple of months before the event so we were disappointed to be seated away from the window. The waitress initially said we could only order wine or champagne however after challenging this we were able to order other drinks. The food was good overall however the desert was disappointing. For the price which we paid I expected better service.

Food is simple, good quality. Considering the price structure of the food menu, would it not be in line to offer the same structure for an appropriate wine list. Just a thought.
