Paragon Hotel - Sydney

Awfully average food. Had the schnitzel. Frozen and yucky "mushroom" sauce. Don't know what it was but it wasn't great. Cold chips. Lettuce tasted earthy, like it hadn't been washed

The Paragon Hotel must be everyone's stopover before heading home. Their food is average. Friendly staff. Music can be a bit too loud sometimes.

Solid pub, with plenty of character and space. Booths, pool tables, outdoor area, etc. I've had some great nights here. Pub food if pretty good in general, quailty and price are on the high side

We were going to have a drink at Quay Bar across the road but it was terribly windy out there and not really alfresco dining weather.  This place is the nearest alternative before our dinner at Bulletin Place.  Surprisedly the beer on tap is plentiful and they even have my favourite pale ale Lord Nelson Three Sheets in the bottle.  One pale ale and one schooner of cider costs $17, there is no happy hour either. thernbdiary.com

Great service and atmosphere. Would recommend to friends and family just wanting a causal drink or a night out on the town. Food is also pretty good.
