The pork was thick and fatty but quite tasty while the egg was straight out of a cold fridge.
A lunch time favorite for me. Lots of cook to order options, the ones I’ve tried I’ve really enjoyed. They also have a good selection of ready made options available if you prefer a variety. The chilli fish is my favorite.
This food court which houses all the Asian cuisines, is my favourite foodcourt in the CBD. And within that foodcourt, Momiji is the one I rate the highest (so far, as I am yet to try all of them). Seriously great value and good serving sizes - I have no reason not to go back! I've tried the udon which was very tasty and generous with the mountain veggies, and the three choice combo where you get rice/noodle and your choice of pre-made sides. Wasn't as good as the made to order, but if you're in a rush or simply want to try what they have on offer, it's still worth getting. They also offer brown rice at no extra cost which I don't think you can find at a lot of places (let alone brown rice in general). Will be going back for the udon very soon! ????
Yakisoba wrapped in egg, rice, croquette and salad, all for $9.50. Not bad for value. Everything was good except there was burnt yakisoba. I really liked the croquette though, very crispy. Miso soup included. Friend had plain tonkotsu ramen for $7.90, not enough noodles but still nice. Good location and service, happy to try other dishes.
A hidden gem Located behind woolworths at town hall in an Asian food court that has about 7 or so food stores offering various dishes from Bain Marie's or special orders. The food is made quickly and there was ample seating. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen and the broth was very tasty. I would visit again.
