I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, where I enjoyed a delicious toasted ham and cheese sandwich on sourdough, paired with a Bundaberg ginger beer. The outdoor seating was pleasant and located at the Hyde Park Barracks end of Macquarie Street.
I had a meal at a restaurant near Sydney Eye Hospital. The food was subpar, haphazardly thrown together and lacked flavor. I wouldn't suggest dining there.
I had an appointment at Sydney Hospital and as they do not have a coffee shop on site this Coffee shop is in prime location for staff and visitors on Macquarie street directly opposite the entrance. There is table service and a take away only service. The take away is set up as a line near the register order and pay and wait for your name and order to be called. Alternatively you can take a seat and the wait staff come over promptly to take your order. The bill is not brought when your order is so you need to remember to pay before you leave. I have tried both the ham and cheese croissant and a sausage roll (which is very generous in size). Both were tasty. I would recommend this Coffee shop if you need a break or at Sydney Hospital.
I had a great lunch today at this restaurant. The spinach and egg wrap I ordered was delicious and reasonably priced. The location, overlooking the historic buildings on Macquarie Street, added to the overall pleasant atmosphere.
