Premier Inn York North - Sydney

Great location for visiting York with the Park and Ride bus service every 10 minutes. Picks up from outside the hotel. Rooms are dated and our family room was small and noisy due to deliveries being received by our window as well as the hospital next door also having their deliveries. Not the normal standard we expect from Premier Inn. The Dormouse pub was pleasant and had a great menu choice. Rooms: Dated and not the normal decor. Rooms: 3

Avoid! Mouldy bathroom ceiling. Extractor fan broken, rusty, falling to pieces. Large damp patches allover the bathroom floor. Couldn't get the room below 25 degrees. Customer service don't care, expected us to move rooms at 1AM. Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 3

Ideally situated for a visit to York. Bus stop to coty centre less than 5 minutes walk and bus ride takes about 15 minutes. Very nice, friendly and helpful staff at Premier Inn. The only downside is The Doormouse pub next door, the staff there are neither friendly nor helpful. Food drinks: The breakfast is served inside the Premier Inn. For other meals you have to eat out. The pub restaurant next door is called The Doormouse, we ate there once. The food was just about acceptable, but there seemed to be a flippant, almost cavalier, attitude towards the gluten allergy of one member of our party. Although we intend to use this Premier Inn again soon, we certainly won't be going to The Doormouse!

Never stayed at a Premier Inn before because they're always booked when I've tried I can understand why! The room was beautifully clean and well presented, staff were really welcoming, facilities good and the breakfast was superb! Great experience.
