Gl. Logten Strandkro - Syddjurs

At the Strandkro you get a tranquil, almost meditative experience surrounded by birdsong, ocean view and the calmness of nature. Only few other dining guests allowed us to relax and enjoy our little getaway 30 minutes from the urban life in Aarhus. The menu offered a limited number of dishes, but everything was so fresh and tasty that it didn't matter. We will return to this restaurant for a quiet meal every summer I know! We had a few misunderstandings with the staff, they forgot to bring us refills on wine during main course, and in general we couldn't really figure out if one of the two really qualified servants had an rude attitude towards some of the guests or just had a special kind of humor. That being our only small complaint I repeat: we for sure will revisit this hidden pearl!

Though the wedding I attended were a little too numerous to fit neatly into the ballroom (we were 72 people seated at roundtables), the view and the service (food, drinks, friendliness) was awesome!

Lovely apartments with fantastic views of the water. The price is very reasonable. Good breakfast. Quiet and peaceful place in the middle of the most beautiful nature.

The inn was closed when we got there and you could check in at 2pm and we were there at 1.50pm When we got in there was a bad smell so we drove again it was a bad experience

Previously, sharpness and refinement are unfortunately lost. It's really strange! No menu cards or wine cards.
