Przekaż informację zwrotnąDuring the second lockdown, we opted for a takeaway and decided to try something different than our usual Dominos and McDonalds. We stumbled upon a hidden gem that we had never heard of before. The menu looked enticing, so I ordered the blue cheese burger meal while my husband opted for the chicken burger meal. Ordering was a breeze and the food arrived promptly. I have to admit, it was the best burger and chips I have ever had. The food was fresh and perfectly cooked. The only downside was the steep price, especially for takeaway. However, it is definitely worth a try!
I tried to place an online order and was told it would take 45 minutes. I waited and waited, but my order never arrived. I received an email saying they rejected my order because they were too busy. I've never experienced anything like this before. The customer service was very poor. It's no surprise that the shop is up for sale.
My wife and I were in the mood for some fast food, specifically burgers. We ordered the blue cheese beef burger and the double chicken thigh BBQ burger, which came with a plentiful amount of chips and a can of drink. We also got a small portion of wings and garlic bread on the side. This halal beef burger was one of the best I've ever had, second only to Hardees in Dubai and Pakistan. The beef was juicy and delicious, clearly made in-house and not the frozen kind you find at some Turkish or Kurdish takeaways. While I wouldn't go as far as calling it a gourmet burger, it was really good. The caramelization was perfect and the blue cheese was just right, adding a nice flavor without being overpowering. My wife, who can be quite critical, enjoyed her chicken burger as well. It was moist and had a generous portion of meat, with two well-cooked chicken thighs. The garlic bread was greasy but tasty, and the wings were reminiscent of those from Black Rooster in Glasgow - excellent. We only had three wings, but they were a decent size and well-basted with sauce. Overall, this place was a great find. The staff were friendly, and I look forward to going back to try more items on the menu, especially the shakes and more wings!
Ordered their Texas burger, fries and coleslaw! Wish I had stuck with Wagamama. Fries cooked in old oil, so inedible! Coleslaw worse than Tesco value (not that I’ve had it but can’t see even Tesco selling this sort of coleslaw under any guise) burger did not taste nice at all, no beef taste and full of salt! That was one bite and it all went in the bin!
We had a delivery last night and I can say I was very impressed!! We have ordered from other places like this but no where as good! Unfortunately they didn’t have one of my options but they called me to let me no and offered anything else in replacement! Even the way he spoke to me was lovely so didn’t make it a big thing. again I was shocked as lately speaking to other fast food places and getting such a rude response this was like a breath of fresh air! We definitely will be returning can’t wait to do so!
