Tennessee Fried Chicken - Swindon

This review is exclusively for the GORSE HILL TENNESSEE CHICKEN IN SWINDON. We usually order from VICTORIA ROAD and have never had a problem but unfortunately we had to use GORSE HILL. We ordered our chicken at 5.50pm expectingthe usual fast service. After an hour of waiting I called the GORSE HILL SHOP and asked when my order would be delivered. The rudest woman on earth lied to me and told me the order was already on its way. 30 minutes later I called again and once again she lied to me and said it had left ages ago. 10 minutes later the driver arrived and I asked him when he had picked up the order. He said about 12 minutes ago, proving that the woman I spoke too wasn't telling me the truth. The meal from this GORSE HILL shop was greasy and tasted of unclean fat from the fryer. It was disgusting and I will never order from this GORSE HILL SHOP again. I would not recommend anyone order from the GORSE HILL BRANCH OF TENNESSEE CHICKEN as the food is disgusting and the service is rubbish. If I was management I would close this GORSE HILL BRANCH down with immediate effect before it ruined the reputation of others. DO NOT BIY ANYTHING FROM GORSE HILL TENNESSEE CHICKEN !!!!

Tennessee was one of my favourite places to eat. That is, until I had food poisoning from the hot and spicy chicken wings. I’ve had vomiting, loose stool, fever and cramping in the stomach. I was the only one on my family who ate the hot and spicy chicken wings. Everyone else was fine. I started projectile vomiting 5 hours after my meal. I called to let them know and request a refund. I spoke to the manager and she was very unhelpful, no compassion or sympathy. I was advised if I request the refund of the 5 wing meal which came down to £8 I think. I will not be able to order from them again. I happily requested the refund. I’ve been put off fried chicken. Will never eat their food again.

Terrible experience!! I’m with Tennessee for the long long time but face this first time. A Kurdish(maybe) guy was soo rude to me and he doesn’t know English I think, I ordered chicken popcorn and he cooked that for less than 2.5 minutes and it’s still like raw. And I promise I’ll never go to Tennessee again!!!!

AVOID AVOID AVOID...waited for around 2 hours, did not even receive the food, when I called in to ask, they said they have delivered it. I offered to show them cctv footage that no one has delivered to my address, which they said they cant trust. I told them they can send the delivery driver back to the address he delivered to, so they can confirm it wasn't me, which they didn't do. They said they cant refund my order as they cant trust my claim. Had to speak to some rude supervisor/manager who then just hung up on me. After being a regular customer this experience has been appalling and I will never eat or order from this shop again and I suggest anyone else to find elsewhere to order from. This was the gorse hill branch.

Banging fresh chicken. Got the spicy wrap and hot wings. Fresh and seasoned well. Not dry it was juicy chicken. Definitely recommend
