Spotted Cow - Swindon

I have always had wonderful experiences at this restaurant. The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is lovely. Our food was served quickly and was hot and tasty. Nichola made sure to check on us during our meal, providing exceptional service. Thank you!

We used to love the Spotty, but on our recent visits, we've noticed that the place looks and feels dirty in some areas. The food is affordable and enjoyable, and we usually receive a decent meal for the price. However, the tables are often sticky, the floors appear to be dirty, and the bar is consistently wet and sticky. The staff are friendly, but there seems to be a lack of leadership, as employees are often seen standing around instead of cleaning when not busy. While we have never given a bad review before, we are concerned about the decline in cleanliness and may not return, as some of our friends have also noticed the same issues.

I've never experienced such bad service, when I arrived the pub was half full, I had to wait 30 minutes for my drinks to arrive at my table, I ordered my food at 7.40pm i was to there's an hour wait..that hour came and went still no food, I asked how much long yo be told another 30 minutes, people who arrived after me were getting there food, I was still waiting...that 30 minutes came and went I asked again they said its not ready yet, I've now been here for 1 hour and 45 minutes and only received 1 drink, I decided to get a refund and leave. I appreciate a busy pub, but I've been here several times under the old management qhen it's much busier and been served much quicker, terrible service and i wont be going there again .

Great service and excellent food at a really good price. Will be back soon the staff were professional but with a human touch and nothing was to much trouble
