Washrooms Showers looked new and clean. There's also a sink to wash dishes, a laundromat and a nice sauna! I will definitely come back.
Felt safe, bathrooms were clean, wifi was fast enough. Strongly recommend camping/staying here.
While I was quite nervous after reading some of the reviews I was thankfully super surprised. I was mostly concerned about the “pack” of dogs, I saw maybe 3 and they were friendly and went away when I told them to “go home”. Shower water was cold if you showed after 7pm but any time before that they were great. Our fire place and picnic table were on the wrong side of our camper but again not something that was an issue. Make sure to bring an extension cored adaptor to plug into a regular plug in. Every person I ran into was super friendly and we had a great stay.
Stayed for two nights this August 2024. Nice little campground that was quiet. Huge kudos for the lovely bathrooms and great showers. Very clean. Very nice. I would definitely stay again.
I'm honestly shocked by the great reviews. We were sorely disappointed in our experience. We came over the busy 4th of July weekend and owners were nowhere to be found. Office closed, cafe closed, store closed. Showers were FREEZING. Absolutely no hot water. Womens bathroom was a mess (see photo) with 2 of the stalls out of toilet paper. People were washing chili pots in the bathroom sinks because there is no campers wash station. Campground is RIGHT on the road, with considerable road noise (we were tent camping). The owners dogs roam the property, which is great (we love dogs) but our own dogs weren't quite as open to the visits and the owners dogs eating their dog food. With a little effort, this place could be much better, but we won't be back. For the same price you can stay at Johnson's in St. Mary which is considerably nicer.
