Sunshine Island Restaurant

I only sampled the buffet and it was not good. The food was old and unappetizing, but the fresh food that was coming out looked much better. I will give it another try. I would not recommend ordering the buffet. Also, the restaurant has the best carpet I have ever seen.

There are at least some items that are handmade at this restaurant.

I went to this Resturant last night. I had the smorg. $13.95. It was great food and I see they also have a breakfast starting at $4.95 for 2 eggs toast and hash browns. The servers are very friendly and eager to please. This Resturant was clean and tidy. I believe it has had a bad reports before but I was very pleased with food and service.

The buffet was like it was put out at lunch time and never changed. Everything was old or cold. I had cutlets, hard on the edges and soft in the middle. The person who seated us could not speak English and had to get a younger person to come take our drink and food orders. Will not eat there again for sure.

We only had thirty minutes to eat before our flight, but the restaurant staff took great care of us! The grilled halibut burgers were amazing, accompanied by delicious fries.
