What a peaceful atmosphere! The venue is situated in stunning gardens with tranquil water features, large shaded trees, and a variety of beautiful flowers. We savored two generous wine tastings that were well-priced. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. We highly recommend Van Loveren Wines!

We chose our wine pairings from a list, and the staff exceeded our expectations by offering even more than we had asked for! As for lunch, the food was absolutely divine—kudos to the chef! Afterward, we enjoyed dessert and more drinks. Daryll was exceptionally hospitable and seemed eager for us to stay longer. And let’s not forget the view! The location is stunning and definitely worth a visit.

Unfortunately, we had to turn back shortly after reaching the halfway mark because my wife's shoes weren't suitable for the steep descent; good footwear is essential for this trail. We did enjoy a lovely shaded path beneath Eucalyptus trees near the Breede River, which provided a nice break from the heat of the day. Of course, after all that hard work, there’s nothing like indulging in some wine tasting in the tasting room. By the end of the day, you’ll appreciate your purchases even more, knowing you’ve poured your sweat into the terroir!

Great wine tasting experience that you can also contain your children. Well-priced wines and spirits.
