Located across the street from railroad tracks, this quaint hole in the wall had excellent service, great food, at a great price. I tried the menudo (32oz) and had toasted bread with it. They offer corn and flour tortillas as well. No pan bolillo as they do not serve tortas. The menudo was tender, spicy, and fresh. First time eating it with toast, and it did not disappoint. My sister had their chicken flautas, which she said tasted delicious as well. For dessert, we tried their cheesecake sopapilla with whipped cream and strawberries. Let me tell you, this is a dessert to savor every bite. It is quite a large serving, so two can certainly eat one serving. Will certainly visit here again on a trip out to West Texas next time traveling through Sweetwater.
Pretty much if your not Hispanic they could careless.. had chicken quesadillas, chicken tasted like it was spoiled. Queso was the worst queso I 've had in my life! Told lady at the front and the reply was noone ever complained before. But there 's a reason I left over so much food on that plate.
Food was bland. Slow customer service with no other customers. Owner got offended when I mentioned this. Everyone's taste buds are different.
My husband and I own our own freight hauling business. We happened on this place purely by luck and were so glad we did. We were warmly welcomed, the atmosphere was relaxing and inviting and the food was delicious!!!
