Point - Sweet Home

Have eaten in place at many different times and the food is always Primo!!!! Never disappointed!!!

Husband and I stopped by after our hike. We arrived just after 11am when they stopped serving breakfast. Their amazing and friendly staff kindly offered us breakfast which was incredible!! Husband got their biscuits and gravy which he happily devoured (clean plate club! and I got the chicken and waffles which was perfect. Highly recommend! We will be back next visit!!!

Next time you are driving by, do yourself a favor and stop at the Point. We stopped in for a late lunch. Seated right away. Our server Kay, spoke clearly and well. She was friendly and helpful. Checked in on us just the right amount of times. The food was amazingly delicious. While we waited for our appetizer, which wasn't very long, we were treated to fresh hot bread and butter. Yum. The mushroom appetizer has mushrooms cooked 2 ways. One in a garlic butter sauce. I'd suggest saving a piece of bread to soak up every last drop of that goodness. The others were stuffed with pesto and topped with Gouda cheese. Oh my yumminess! One of us ordered the fosters grilled cheese. The menu is a bit misleading. It's more like a grilled thick cut bacon sandwich with cheese. He had a generous amount of sweet potato fries that were cooked just right. I decided to follow my appetizer with another and try the pickle fries. Oh man, that is certainly big enough to share! Crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside fries with chopped bacon, chopped pickles and a dill sauce with deep fried pickle slices of course. Both of us had to take some of it home. The blackberry lemonade we took the refill to go as it was worth the treat. Again, do yourself a favor and stop at The Point. Delicious. And if you are riding through, they had 8 dedicated motorcycle parking spots.

We put our name in at 11:26. We were told 30 minutes. Took 45. (Understandable). We were seated at 12:15. Order taken at 12:30. My food came out at 1:30 . Half our food was cold. It tasted mediocre. Had two flies harassing us the whole meal inside the restaurant. Would not come back.

Great lunch great atmosphere. Staff is very attentive to your needs. Mike has a wonderful place I recommend highly.
