Przekaż informację zwrotnąWhenever I go to this fish shop, the Polish employee always refuses to cook fresh fish. In fact, tonight he told me that the fish was cooked fresh 15 minutes ago - what a joke! It's a waste of time. Rossi's, which is just 5 minutes down the road, cooks everything fresh. Fish should always be cooked fresh so that the batter doesn't end up rubbery. All the other chefs cook the fish fresh, except for the lazy Polish guy here.
The sausage in batter was undercooked and cold, so I had to throw it away. However, my jumbo sausage was delicious - freshly cooked and hot. The chips were terrible, tasting like they were washed in dish soap and were not cooked enough. The curry sauce was cold and oily, and the rissle tasted expired. I will not be returning due to the disappointing and disgusting food.
Great value for money, well cooked fish and chips. regular Chip portion is huge. There is a good selection of sides including Irish Curry Sauce , whatever that is.
Visited today to put a large order in for our workplace. Really impressed with the service. Order placed for 50 people, food was ready on time and was still piping hot when we all tucked in. No mistakes at all which usually happens when placing a large order. I heard a lot of positive feedback from work colleagues curry sauce described as the best they've ever had. Service really was great, they even went the extra mile and helped us get the food back to the office as we underestimated how many of us would be needed to carry it. No clue how they're currently averaging 3 stars. I'd rate it 6 if I could! Will definitely be ordering again in future.
We often have chips with one thing or another from the Riverside Fish Bar. The food is always fresh and the quality and value are also good. I would certainly recommend it.
