Too hot and so. The staff was good, but sliw service. Food was good, but very expensive and expensive. Need fresh air. Wine was good. ,...
Although we didn't stay at the Delta Marriott Swansea hotel, we had dinner at the Cast Iron Bar and Grill. The food was amazing, definitely worth 5 stars. We particularly enjoyed the low and slow BBQ sauce baby ribs, which I highly recommend. The menu wasn't extensive, but it offered a great selection for both meat eaters and vegetarians. Julie Coe provided us with excellent service, and she even encouraged us to sign up for the Bonvoy Marriott program, highlighting the benefits. I would recommend this restaurant, especially since it's just a minute away from the beach. If we ever return to Swansea, we would definitely consider staying at this hotel.
I was initially concerned after reading some of the reviews. The food was expensive and took longer than anticipated to arrive. However, when it did, it was clearly freshly prepared and delicious. The service was also excellent. If you are staying here, you don't need to look elsewhere for dinner, as this restaurant is a good choice.
When staying at the Marriott, my brother and I decided to go down and try out Cast Iron and we were not disappointed! We were met by a lovely waitress Jodie, who made sure we were cared for and picked some lovely wines! we would probably just come back because she was such a great waitress. We shared the soup of the day amazing! and I had the pork ribs while my brother had the Ribeye steak. Both were great and full of flavour. We felt that it was definitely worth the money.
