A & W Restaurant - Swan River

Need fast food great location, but only sad this is they are not open late! They is our go to place when kids need a quick meal because they have swimming, or work and with four kids going in four directions A & W is great! We all love the hand cut onion rings! We as parents also like that their meat products have no growth hormone, antibiotics etc. It is hit and miss though depending on who is working some really great speed and other times not as quick. Just like any fast food place always best to check your order before leaving.

Breakfast sandwiches are excellent. Just don't get them on an English Muffin as they get too greasy(re: Spongebob). Everyone has their favourite burger. Mine is now the Uncle burger with cheese and bacon. Wow that was fantastic when the owner cooked it! Onion rings are far too salty for me as is the gravy. Poutine is good tho. I don't care for the chicken as the batter tastes too processed. But the chicken strips are good as are the wraps. Didn't care for the salad as it tasted like plastic.

I was recently at this restaurant and, as usual, said, "No salt, no lettuce, and no condiments" on the teen burger. The server gave me a burger with ABSOLUTELY nothing on it. I told her that I had said 'no condiments' but still wanted the cheese, onions, etc.She said, "Those are condiments." I replied, "No, they are not."She half-closed the window and asked the cook to put on what I wanted. I could hear her complaining to her colleague about 'condiments'.What happened to the first rule of business, namely: 1. The customer is always right.2. When the customer is wrong, refer back to rule number 1.(Sigh)

There were 5 guy cooks and 3 girls all younger everyone just leaning around and everyone looked disgusting uniform wise untucked dirty wrinkled. no use of gloves and i dont know why they have a "chubby chicken" when it takes 15 minutes everytime. who do they think will wait for that honestly. everything i had was overly salted the only good thing was the rootbeer. and if they had messed that up hell hath no fury. also completely freezing in the restaurant. i will go back. only for a rootbeer

Service was average. Food was Great as always. Atmosphere feel a bit cramped but interesting. Coffee is Horrible!
