Bonsuwon Galbi - Suwon-si

Wow. Delicious kalbi. amazing sides. Great friendly service. We loved cooking over coals rather than the usual propane. It was a little cold inside (kids were shivering) which sound have cost a star, but the food made up for it.

Very high quality meats, friendly staff, and clean restaurant. This restaurant is well organized and the staff is proficient. Not sure about how well foreigners would be addressed, but the friendliness of the staff should translate well to any guests. Any of the menu items will be above average. My personal favorite, the marinated short rib, has been spot on every time I have visited. The after meal stew, utilizing the bone (ribs) from the meat order is a very nice touch. The server will take the bones from the serving dish to add to the stew for the table. Delicious!

Very nice restaurant to enjoy grilled beef ribs. The country of origin was American beef, but the rib size was best in the Korean beef restaurant. especially I love meeting that was attached to rib. Pricing was slightly elevated, but very popular.

I suggest for foreigner that want to know a very good Corean barbecue. When I was there, the menu for 2 was 65,000 won.

This is a must when you visit Suwon Korea. It is always packed, even during the pandemic chaos. Great food, but do not expect a friendly service (compared to other Korean places). They prioritise efficiency towards friendliness. They are also currently engaged in enlargement and renovation.
