South Sea Fish - Sutton

Typically, the cod and chips at this restaurant is delicious, but on my recent visit, the batter was very soggy. I sent an email expressing my disappointment but never received a response. Hopefully, they will improve the batter next time!

We recently had one of the best Chinese takeout experiences at this restaurant. We ordered a total of 9 dishes and received several complimentary items as well. The food was delicious, fresh, and served in generous portions. The delivery was quick, and the entire family thoroughly enjoyed every dish.

The cod was the worst I have ever had, it looked a big piece but was practically hollow inside, I could only get one large spoonful of fish, no lovely flakes just flutters. The batter was oily and left a horrible taste in my mouth hours after. The chips were dry and hard, bendy as if old and reheated. Did not know that you could mess up a traditional dish this badly. Vile feel ill now.

I wanted to try a new takeout place, but when I ordered, I was told it would be an hour. I made it clear that I didn't want to wait any longer, but after 5 more calls, I was still waiting an hour and 40 minutes later. The delivery person was unfriendly and rude, and on top of that, the food was very disappointing.

Busy little take away easy to park now with a good choice of food including fish and chips. Also good choice and very nice honest good
