Tipple Bar and Bistro - Surry Hills

Not bad place for a few drinks and a bite to eat. Came here on a Tuesday and took advantage of their 2 for 1 meal deal. The place has a more relaxed and intimate feel with not many people compared to a Friday afternoon with the after work drinks crowd. Ordered a fish & chips and the others ordered schnitz and burgers. Food didn't take long to be made. My fish & chips had a great batter which was light, fluffy and crunchy. The fries were crunchy as well. Only wish it had a side of slaw like it does with the schnitty. Overall, I would recommend to eat here compared to the pubs nearby.

Really cool place. Relaxed, great lighting and atmosphere. Crisp salad, crispy croutons, perfect poached egg, balance dressing, and just the right amount of tender chicken - and Parmesan cheese stressed everywhere .. I think I still want one.

AHHH only a normal pub or an average cocktail bar. They used to have a good cocktail bartender, but he is not there now. Cocktails are average and I think the price is right. It is at the back of the main station. The place is cozy and the food is great. It can be a local pub for someone :)

I have the juvenel and an apple wine. Grief The back chicken was okay as I ordered it, I had expected that I was on the bone, but it was from the bone and it was thigh. The chicken was juicy and had a spicy taste, but nothing too much. The rice was really well done, maybe closs sweeter, but it was good

Tipply's features the most epic of burgers that Sydney has to offer! I absolutely love the Gentleman burger which is loaded with onion rings, Mac and cheese, bacon and a succulent beef patty. Their pulled pork burger with slaw is also incredibly tasty with a nice smokey flavour. Highly recommend this spot for a good feed! medium.com
