Maya Tandoori - Surry Hills

Eating was ok can't complain, but sitting area is a little confused. Once this place is busy, they don't know where to kick. the restroom was not clean. the staff was okay.

Lamb rogan josh and chicken kadai is recommended. this place has a decent ambiente and the upper floor is for non vegetarian lovers. eating is excellent and reminds them of authentic Indian dishes that are well cooked and aromatic here. the service is quite fast with decent staff

Had always a great chicken tikka and murg makhani from here, service can be slow, but why do I have to hurry? good dinges come to those who wait and these curries are worth it.

Maya tandoori is a very high quality restaurant with a very clean interieur. the personal was all kind and attentive, the only little left was that when we were ready to order, we had to break down at the end of someone. we were in a big group, so presented quite a lot of food. every dish was so tasteful! the chicken tikka masala is definitiw one of the best I had. the lamb was an explosion of heat and taste and the aubergine was smokey and beautiful. I also really enjoyed the masala butter paneer and of course the cheese naan bread was a winner. general portions!

This is a very good place for authentic Indian food.. specially Punjabi Indian food....Value for money. We have tried many items there and all are equally good in terms of tastes, quantity and quality.... A must go place if you are in Sydney....
