Mad Spuds Cafe - Surry Hills

Randomly walked into this small Irish/ Australian Café, and couldn't be happier. I had smocked salmon eggs Benedict and my partner had that amazing Irish Fry. We also had Banana Berry Smoothies. Very impressed, everything was perfect. Highly recommend and will be back.

A close friend and I ate lunch here recently. I had the potato nachos and they were great. The potato was uniformly fried and topped with guacamole, spicy beans, mozzarella and sour cream. A lovely lunch dish! The mango smoothies however were a complete disappointment....Even after they replaced it, it barely had any mango in it.

If you’re looking for a big English fry up around Sydney this is the place to go, amazing food and reasonably priced.

Trying to be a good vegan this place does the job. Meal and smoothie were both amazing. Can be a busy spot at peak times.

I have been recommended this place by friends and it has great reviews on here however we tried it today and was disappointed by the service and the food. Our food took 30 mins to arrive and the dish my boyfriend ordered was called the...boxster and he didn't enjoy it which was a shame after the long wait and only had one slice of bacon. We had to get up and grab the water we asked for ourselves. I understand it is the day after New years day though. They did apologise for the long wait but they could of removed the coffee off of the bill which would have been good customer service. The coffee itself was good and my dish the stack was nice but I think I would be more inclined to try somewhere new next time.
