Hannibal - Surry Hills

Had heard of the amazing food from this restaurant. We booked a private dining room when we had a group of us. The room we had was completely furnished from the ground to the ceiling, large Arabic material showed the roof, decorative flags, large pillows to sit on the floor, on the floor and the food Lebanese style. Fantastic atmosphere and great food, so authentic. Private dining rooms are the way. Food was not holding, we had the mezze plates and everything was delicious. At night, loud music began to play, and we had our own private belly dancer for us for about 15 minutes, have fun. Will return again!

Perfect amount of food and royal treatments even visited on a groupon gift certificate. Good atmosphere and authentic feeling, decor and music. Every dish was full of taste and nothing was too sharp. Will definitely return for more.

We ordered the mixed entree, which were only 3 Falafels 2 Dips, Tabuli and bread for 20 dollars. The bread was old, almost moldy. We also ordered a spinach pie, which was also old, as if she had been in the fridge a week and had heated. It should come with cheese, but there was no cheese in it. Sorry guys, nobody wants to eat food that is not fresh.

Hannibal offers Lebanese in Surry Hills, an area that surprisingly has multiple options in Middle Eastern fare. However, contrary to expectations, Hannibal is expensive and inefficient service. The food does not taste or seem fresh too. At best, the ambience is pleasant for a relaxed, cultural meal but that is inadequate redemption for the food and the service. We would be reluctant to recommend Hannibal to our friends.

Five stars for the name, but everything else was a horror. Grief The delivery lasted 2.5 hours. Grief The chicken was taped to the point where it was almost tasted rubber. Grief Could not create the battata to eat (hot chips) as tasted as if they were cooked in old / cheap oil.
