Przekaż informację zwrotnąWe had dinner here with 5 friends. Whilst the food was good and different than most tapas places. It was overpriced $350 for 5 with hardly any drinks) and we could hardly hear each other because of the loud music. The staff acted a bit strange, kind of like we should just accept how things are rather than asking for the volume to go down slightly because we couldn’t hear each other.
Selected this place on a whim, as Chinatown was a bit too far to walk on old legs, what a delightful experience, Staff very welcoming, and their attention to detail beyond good. We had the fish fingers, pork belly and lamb, all exquisite as well as chocolate mousse and rhubarb, to die for. Downside is the price of wine, quite exorbitant.
We had dinner and it was amazing. Lots of share platters for 3. My favourite dish was the pork and shredded apple salad but I have to say all our dishes were full of flavour. The atmosphere was vibrant and the service was fantastic. The drinks are pricey so not a place to share more than one bottle of wine.
We had a decent lunch here with my colleagues.I specially liked deserts but all other food was really delicious. They have nice vanity :
Four of us dined at Bodega: our food was good especially the pumpkin dumplings, gorgonzola, brown butter sage) but crazy prices like most of Sydney, to be honest). The wines were expensive too. Other than the usual big bill $90+ pp), my main criticism is the staff. The 'lady ' serving us was arrogant, unfriendly and downright unpleasant.
