Przekaż informację zwrotnąPalette is a fantastic cafe and restaurant. If you're looking for a relaxing spot to enjoy a drink and a delicious cake or sandwich during the day, this is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the town, despite its close proximity. In the evening, they offer excellent entertainment and scrumptious food. The staff are wonderful - kind and welcoming. I've heard their party functions are exceptional as well. The prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend visiting Palette!
I had a disappointing experience at The Palette in The Lightbox in Woking. I visited this restaurant on a Sunday in September before viewing the art in the gallery. The food was tasteless and bland, taking too long to arrive at our table. The Thai Curry, Burger, and Jerk Chicken were all below standard. The curry was watery and under seasoned, with poor quality chicken. The Jerk Chicken was served in a roll with bones, which was strange and unpleasant. The crushed potatoes were cold and the burger was also below par. Despite the disappointing food, the staff were friendly and courteous. The restaurant has potential but needs a change in attitude and quality. A visit to Field Fork in the Pallant House Gallery in Chichester could show them what they could achieve with the right approach. The total cost for our meal was approximately...
My husband and I met our daughter at Palette before heading to the theatre. Parking was convenient and affordable at the nearby Brewery Street car park. Despite its appearance as a cafe or snack bar, Palette exceeded our expectations in terms of welcome, ambiance, food, and wine. My husband and daughter enjoyed a large antipasti platter, while I savored the tasty homemade fishcakes. We all indulged in a delicious steak with plenty of sautéed potatoes. We were too full for dessert, but the reasonably priced wine was a perfect complement to our meal. The live string quartet playing popular classical pieces was a delightful bonus. Our evening at Palette was so enjoyable that it even overshadowed the theatre experience. My daughter mentioned that it is also a great spot to unwind after a day of shopping with coffee and homemade cakes. I highly recommend checking it out!
