Ordered takeaway ready for collection at 6.40pm. Waited outside for over an hour before cancelling the order.
Visit date: 03/10/2020. One of the worst Nando’s experience I have ever had in life. Our waiting time was 50 minutes to 1 hour (table for 5). We were told to join the virtual queue. After 10 minutes into the virtual queue, they added 20 minutes to our virtual queue. After a long wait we finally got our table. We order our food and made the payment at 17:13pm. After the payments, no one served us any of our drinks, no condiment nothing. No one came to check on us, every staffs just ignored us. Even when you called them, they said” We’ll be with you in a moment” then they forgot. We managed to stop a staff, who was serving drinks for the table next to ours. Funny enough those people actually came after us, 20 minutes after us. I showed him my frustration and he finally got us our drink at 17:47pm. We got our drinks after 35 minutes. He said sorry for the delay, but 35 minutes to fix a drink is ridiculous. Finally, we got our food at 17:58pm after 45 minutes. This is SHOCKING Nando’s standard. The food however was nice tasty, such a shame with the terrible service.
It was my birthday and the girl on the till scanned my food through as a 'random act of kindness '. As I didn 't expect this whatsoever, it was a really lovely gesture. It 's always clean and quick in there, what more can you ask for.
I cannot express enough how disappointed I was with my chicken dish from this restaurant. I originally wanted the 4 thighs from the menu for £7.50, but they were sold out, so I settled for the chicken breast for £8. When it arrived, I couldn't believe my eyes. I received two tiny chicken breasts on a huge plate, equivalent to cutting a standard supermarket-sized chicken breast in half. All for £8! This was definitely not worth the money.
