It only took my thick skull a few minutes to realize my husband and I would not be waited on. No one greets you at the door, no hello take a seat anywhere and we will be with you in a few minutes No just bitchy, unhappy looking women walking around. With no intention of serving you. With the price of going out nowadays I am happy that this establishment showed me how much they don 't need my business. And from the other reviews it seems this is something they do regularly. On the bright side we road down the street and found Silver King smoke house. The pulled pork sandwich was wonderful and the brisket was yummy. So if you find yourself being snubbed at this place just go down the road a bit. They greet you and tell you to have a seat and they will be with you in a few with a smile.
The staff is friendly, and it's a fantastic place to visit during the week if you're in town. Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5
We visited on a Sunday and looked at the brunch menu. My wife ordered a basic salad with ranch dressing on the side, which cost $8 for a small bowl that resembled a side salad. While the vegetables were fresh and crunchy, the portion was disappointingly small. As for my brunch choice, I went with the red beef tamales topped with two eggs, cheese, and a generous serving of refried beans. At first glance, it looked fantastic—definitely a feast for the eyes! However, the experience of eating it was less enjoyable. Although the eggs were cooked perfectly, the tamales tasted store-bought and simply warmed in the microwave. I struggled to cut into the masa with my fork and had to resort to using a knife. Perhaps someone could show the chef how to properly steam tamales by wrapping them in a damp paper towel before microwaving? The red sauce drizzled on top seemed to come straight from a can. I’m not sure what brand it was, but it had a bright red color and a rather intense spiciness, which was different from the deeper red and milder flavors typical of conventional Mexican sauces. If you're just looking to enjoy a drink, this bar is a great choice. However, if you're hoping for a memorable meal, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. I continue to wonder how this place managed to achieve a 4.5-star rating; I believe it deserves a more realistic 3 to 4 stars at best.
