Barkers Island Inn Resort Conference Center

We picked this place from an online deal broker but find it to be a good central location for Duluth/Superior. The room is comfortable and quiet except for our kid. The pool/hot tub is nice. This is a good place for an extended stay. We'll stay here again.

View of the marina was nice. Had no reservation but were able to get a handicapped room. Decided to stay an extra night but had to move to a different non-handicapped because the first room was already reserved. Both rooms were clean and comfortable. The place is huge. Our rooms were both a very, very long walk from the front.

Nice hotel. We got a double queen room. Very clean and spacious. They have a large pool and hot tub area with a few game machines. Overall great experience. Breakfast was a grab and go type with a few microwave sandwiches.

We were here for a wedding, the food was great, service was good, but our room was not clean. There were crumbs on the floor and empty fruit snack bag under counter on floor. Water pressure was good in shower, has the potential to be a very nice place and probably was 30 years ago

Stayed for 2 nights in room 154 attended a conference. Very lovely location, check in was flawless. Pool looked nice, but I didn’t use it. My room had 2 double beds which were comfortable. TV, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker. Operating the shower was a little learning curve. Heating/AC was also a little “off”, blew “hot” then “cold”. Not sure what the temperature was on the thermostat. Food served at conference (buffets) were good. Morning breakfast had the basic continental breakfast items. Downside—room could use a better cleaning. Stains on the carpet, dusty, mold on doors.
