I’d give it 2.5 stars food was average. Service was poor food was staggered in a way where one meal came out nearly 10 minutes after everyone else (party of 4). It was just a bean burrito with cheese, so it was pretty confusing on why it came out so much later. Atmosphere is lower since cleanliness was poor. I would not recommend. There are better places to eat at in the area.
Good place but will probably skip it next time. It's a typical American style Mexican restaurant like Azteca. Again, not bad but was hoping for something more unique for a nice resort location. 3 stars for the food everything was good but pretty meh loved the salsa with the chips though. 5 stars for the service nothing bad to stay about the staff. Friendly and helpful! Above and beyond. 4 stars for the atmosphere typical Azteca style place clean/comfortable 4 stars for the prices understandable given the location If you want familiar American/Mexican food you'll probably enjoy yourself.
Maybe it was Sunday but the service was really lackluster. No one checked on how the food was. They did ask if we wanted more chips salsa. The 3 tacos had great asada. Black beans were outstanding.
I'm from SoCal. That being said, this was the worst Mexican food I have ever had. I thought the Mexican food in Michigan was terrible, but I found a place that makes the Michigan food legit. I got the carne asada street tacos (3) with beans and rice, $20. All three of my tortillas were under cooked. One was actually chewy. Actually, so we're the chips on the table. Tortilla chips without crunch. A full 50% of the meat was inedible. Grilled gristle and cartilage. The pile of chunks I couldn't eat that I had to remove from my mouth could've filled a large ramekin. The rice wasn't soft. It was crispier than the chips. Way over cooked. The beans were flavorless and nasty. Not one single redeemable item on my plate. It took over 20 min to get our drinks. A full hour for the food. No silver delivered, I had to ask. No one checked up on us. My GF's food came out wrong and I was nearly done before it came back. She ate almost 10% before giving up. Flavorless Mexican food is mind boggling hard to do. Obviously, no togo boxes. My bottle of Pacifico was fine when I finally got it. That's the nicest thing I can say. If I could give less stars for food I would. It's a tourist spot so you get what you get.
