She was talking to the only customer in the restaurant at the bar, and they made us feel like we interrupted them. She rolled her eyes and sucked her teeth when I ordered a doubles. She got up with an attitude and made us feel like we were wasting her time. The doubles sucked they were so sweet and the Bara was raw. Go to Tabanka!!Also the place is disgusting inside.
Kam’s Roti Shop is a must if you are looking for authentic Caribbean food. The aesthetic is super cute, it reminds me of mom and pop shop. Very down to earth place with phenomenal Trinidadian food! Anytime I’m in the city it’s my first stop. I highly recommend :
Went for dinner with the family and everyone loved the food. We liked it so much that we catered a birthday for 50 people from Kam's. Everyone at the party enjoyed the food as well.
I ordered takeout on the phone. When I arrived, I was charged more than the price on the menu due to using a card to pay. They then rudely said that they wanted a tip but I declined. It's a good thing I refused to tip because the roti was horrible. The dough was still partially raw and the chicken lacked flavor. Very disappointing experience. The quality of the food and customer service was no where close to Joy's Roti Delight or Priya's Roti. If I could give less than 1 star, I would.
This lady is not only rude her food is poor quality . There is barely any meat in the chicken roti . Also I asked her for 1 order of pholourie she said “you want me to fire up the grill for just 1 order of pholourie? She talks horribly about all the other restaurants in the plaza . I will continue to go to Joys Roti shop . If I could have choose half a star I would have .
