Pizza Pub - Sunnyvale

Although I’ve never actually eaten at Pizza Pub, I believe they serve the best Indian pizza in the Bay Area. My top choice is the chutney paneer, closely followed by the Kachori pizza. I also tried the pav bhaji, which was enjoyable, but not quite as impressive as my favorites. The flavors of the pizzas are incredible, and I’m amazed at how well the pizza format complements traditional Indian dishes. In fact, I think the Kachori pizza tastes even better than the original snack version. Plus, the pizza holds up well the next day, so I definitely recommend ordering a larger size!

I highly recommend the flavorful Indian-style veggie pizzas with a spicy kick. The ambiance aims for a bar-like atmosphere (I don't drink, so I can't comment on how it measures up in that respect). The kachori pizza and pav bhaji pizza are definitely must-tries. You can choose two toppings for each pizza, with each topping on one half.

We absolutely adore this place! We used to live on Bush Street, so we became regulars in no time. Since moving, we don't come here as often, but it's still one of our favorite spots in the city. The pizza oven is an amazing centerpiece for the restaurant. We've always had the same server, and I really wish I could recall his name because he's fantastic. We consistently enjoy excellent wine pairings along with the perfect salad and pizza. I highly recommend arriving just before or as they open, as the wait can get quite long!

Hole in the wall sort of place, soda machine, ice tea machine etc are out of order. The place is a little run down, but the pizza makes up for it. We were a huge group of 10+ folks, all pizzas were consistent in taste and perfectly cooked. The price is reasonable and the toppings are 'indianized '. Expect spicy pizza. Paneer chutney pizza is the best, period.

This is a fantastic little mom-and-pop restaurant. The pizzas are small but full of flavor. They might be a bit oily, but that just adds to their chewiness and deliciousness. I especially enjoyed the veggie pizza. The artichokes and pineapple may be canned, but they still tasted fresh. They are also very generous with the toppings. I do wish they wouldn’t use the counter for storage, though. The space has a nice-sized TV that showcases current professional sports, and it's clean—definitely doesn’t have the feel of a bar or typical hangout spot. I’ll keep coming back as long as they continue to serve their amazing pizzas.
