Le Plonc Wine Sunnyvale

We had a wonderful time at the restaurant. The attention and service were perfect! We also enjoyed the French Jazz music that was playing. Edward.

We were very pleased to have picked this attractive wine bar in Sunnyvale. The service was excellent, very attentive, informative and prompt which we appreciated as we were attending the comedy show afterwards fairly early in the evening. The Paté was so great, slightly infused with truffle so not overpowering, a wonderful light, creamy texture and plenty of delicious grilled toasts to accompany as well as a fruit compote. The Shishito peppers were perfect! My duck confit was delicious, tender inside and crisp outside. The Moules Mariniere were also quite tasty with a slightly spicy Thai flavoured broth. Our wines were all delicious and well priced. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Le Plonc and will go again!

The restaurant was excellent and the food was outstanding, however, the singing trio was overly loud. It felt like Edith Piaf on steroids. It was hard to chat with my dining companion because the singer was belting out the songs at such a high volume.

A pleasant surprise in Sunnyvale. The pate was good and the wine selection was nice, with a charming musical duo. The volume could have been lower to allow for conversation in the small venue, but it was manageable. It was a bit expensive, but overall, I would return.
