Bay Area Hot Breads - Sunnyvale

The pastries and cakes at this restaurant are unlike any others I have tried. They are very oily and not very flavorful. However, the chocolate pastry puffs and biscuits were decent.

I have tried 4 different puffs from this restaurant so far and liked 2 of them. The pastry itself was flaky and layered, but the flavor of 2 of the fillings didn't meet my expectations. I appreciated that they were served warm straight from the hot case. However, they are quite greasy and the oil tends to leak out through the paper bag. I am still searching for puffs as good as my favorite in New Jersey.

The samosas here taste just like those in India and are absolutely delicious. I also highly recommend trying the mango cake. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Neat little place that reminded me of Indian bakery with the usual egg puffs and vegetable puffs. Tried the cookies as well some of them are really nice! The manager Sri received us well and was very friendly throughout. Worth a visit.
