Hakataya Ramen Sunnybank Plaza

I visited this restaurant last week for lunch and I certainly won’t be returning. I spent $40 on food but was given greasy and dirty plastic spoons for utensils. There were no napkins or tissues available, and the tissue box was tucked away behind the register, forcing us to specifically request tissues. We took four sheets from the box to clean the greasy spoons and our mouths, and when we asked for a fifth sheet, the staff reprimanded us. I would expect that providing tissues is a basic courtesy for a restaurant. Afterward, we went to several other restaurants and saw that each one had a tissue box on every table. I understand that tissues can be costly, but hiding them behind the counter and scolding a customer for asking is ridiculous.

We never been a Haktaya like this, unfriendly and impatient staffs, not enough amount of noodles. All of my families love Hakataya ramen. Very disappointed today.

Quality of Tonkotsu broth is not as good as 2 years ago.

Visited after busy lunch, easy to get seating and my ramen came quickly. Nice they give seniors some discount too !

Good ramen and comfort food, non-halal as this is pork-based. This is also perfect if you want to celebrate your birthday as they give you a free Ramen once they confirm your ID with you. Price $14 as per 2023 .. back then in early 2000s it was only $8, This is how inflation has taken in place.
