Dee's Lakeside Bistro - Sundridge

Right by the beach - so I was surprised how good it was overallEven all my kids like it ! My seared tuna salad was perfect.

When I was studying abroad in France, I lived in the same building and came to this restaurant a couple of times.

Quiet, refreshing always a new dish to try friendly usually has a vegen meal, salads always and a different soup daily

We (my coworker and I) went for lunch while we were working in town and both ordered the Fish and Chips. The coleslaw, spiced fries and fish were very tasty. My only complaint was that the fish portion was small for the price (even the waitress noticed and offered if we wanted to buy a second piece as a side). Overall, not bad and it's a good dish - just make sure you're not overly hungry.

We enjoyed the ambiance and the owner was very gracious and attentive. 3 out of 4 of us had the fish & chips which had zero grease & lots of flavour. The apple dumpling for dessert was delish as well. According to one of the diners in our group, it's hard to find a woman who is a good cook & plays Johnny Cash . The owners boyfriend spent some time at our table telling us stories which were quite humorous.
