I came to Sunderland in 2018 and learned about the restaurant from my friends. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly. I returned in 2019 and invited my family to visit and the food was of the same level and quality. I came back 5 years after my first visit and Shandy's is still the same. What a charming spot! The vintage decor adds a special touch, and the food is absolutely delicious. I'm pleasantly surprised to find a Mediterranean restaurant in Sunderland. Had a great lunch with friends on their recommendation. From now on I'll be going here every time Whenever I want to have a good time with good meal. Absolutely amazing tastes to the food and amazing value. It was my first time the waitress was really helpful and patient. We were given a small bowl of complementary lentil soup to start with, then had Kashk-Ebademjan with a huge naan for a starter, followed by Half chicken and Chelo Khoresh Gaimeh Badamjan-lamb, Koobideh (kofta grill) which were absolutely delicious. We end up our meal with happy faces and this all cost us £34.5. Great value, amazing tastes very friendly waitress. Highly recommended.
