You’d struggle to find a worse run pub. Terrible service, generally grubby and the food is absolutely appalling. Ordering gammon and chips gets you a few slices of warmed cheap processed ham and luke warm oven chips. Makes hospital food look like Michelin star tasting menus in comparison! We went here for Christmas Dinner it was nice food but the thing that let it down was the service and how the bar staff were running round like headless chickens. Management don't have a clue how to run a place on Christmas day all there cared about was getting the money in at the bar from the people walking in. We payed 200 pound for 6 people I've been to this pub many many times before and I've never had such disappointment from the place they couldn't accommodate out austic son with a plate and the food we had to wait over a hour for. The management need to take a big step back and know what they need to do and plan Effectively and make sure it happens its such a massive disappointment we left before we could finish our meal I expected better. We had everyone standing round us while eating totally totally unacceptable and uncomfortable They need to concentrate on the people who's payed for there dinners and not the people walking in for one drink. Update The restaurant contact us and give us a full refund and Apologize for the service and were totally upstanding of the situation. Thank you to the staff for resolving this issue. Regards Keiron
