I have gone to shawarma grill everytime I've been in hospital... as a form of gift to myself, and trust me it really is a gift. I'm in there all the damn time and its AMAZING. The food is actually to die for. If I drove I'd go bankrupt due to being there for every meal of the year. Everything on the menu is delicious, so there's no fret if you're new to Arabic food, you'll get something you'll love. The staff are consistent and there's one guy in particular who always does my shawarma and he's the friendliest guy ever. Haven't had much experience with the rest but he's amazing, friendly as all hell and patient too. I'd recommend this to ANYONE and EVERYONE who are near this area to at least give it a try. I'd recommend the chicken shawarma, as thats my go to. Unfortunately I don't believe they deliver, I've tried to find anything on any delivery apps but nada. They have a few posters for The Food House, but unable to deliver every time... lucky for me... I'd spend too much. Vegetarian options: Falafel!

In Sunderland, this shawarma restaurant stands out as one of the best spots for local cuisine. You might find the portions a bit smaller than expected, but the quality of the food more than compensates for it. However, these minor drawbacks in no way diminish the fact that it's an excellent choice for a swift takeaway meal when you're in a hurry.
