Without an apology for his mistake he agreed reluctantly at the price that was advertised. I waited for my food in the meantime I'm thinking to myself that he's tried to rip me off. I know it's only 50 pence but there's a principal here. I confronted him when my food came and told him I would have gladly given him the extra money if he had asked!!! But don't take the p**s. He pointed to the takeaway menu on the counter, obviously a different price to what is advertised in his shop and tried to justify this! Still no apology. Absolutely no people skills whatsoever. So angry I couldn't eat what I'd purchased so can't comment on the food. He couldn't see the wood for the trees,he may have thought that I was a gullible punter. How wrong he was.!!!!.
Awful ,one of the worst pizzas ever.didnt know it only had 1 hygiene star never going back,and the chips where hard
This is my go to place for a lamb kebab, have tried other shops but always return here. The portions are huge and the meat is wrapped separately from the pittas and the salad comes boxed. The chilli sauce has a nice kick and the garlic mayo is one of the best I have tasted.
Absolutely shocking 12 for a pizza with a bought in pizza base get a pizza chef will never return. I cannot believe a pizzeria would not have a pizza chef
Firstly, ordered chicken curry and chips, pepperoni special pizza and cheese bites and not all of the food was poor. The pepperoni special was decent and the cheese bites were very nice. Also got chips that came free with the cheese bites and they were nice. The issue was the chicken curry and chips. The carton came and felt hot which was great, and that’s about as good as it got. When opened, the chicken curry and chips, it looked like a very watery curry. The taste can be best described as a very watery chicken stock. When we called Lugano’s to complain, rather than apologise, they argued saying that’s how they do it, which is a lie as we have had this from them before, and that if we wanted a thicker curry, we should have advised them. Sorry but even generic curry has more to it than that watery disaster. After going back and forth, they offered another curry, in which would take 45mins, which we declined as would be after 11pm by that time, after we had already waited over 1 hour originally. They then advised that they would issue a refund, via a driver coming to the door to collect the order back and providing the cash. It’s the first time I have ever known a takeaway request the food back, I hope this is purely for their own research as to what went wrong and that they aren’t looking to pass off elsewhere to another customer. We have been to Lugano’s over several times throughout the years but after the service received, lack of apology and quality of the food, we won’t be returning. The only reason it was not 1* was due to the fact the rest of the order was of a decent standard.
