Costa - Sunderland

Nice to find a coffee shop that is actually open after half past three. The staff here are very pleasant and helpful; a credit to the company and I have to say, a refreshing change these days. The cafe has comfortable seating, which makes your experience much better. The coffee is reasonable. I always have mine in a takeaway cup, as I detest the soup bowls that they normally serve it in. The entrance to the rear, has quite a steep decent from the car park and the toilets to the rear, need to be open. Overall, a great to sit and enjoy a cuppa, though the food prices are a bit on the high side.

I always come here and even whilst the promotion was going on i still got my lovely dose of friendly chat from the wonderful girls here, the staff are a credit to this store, mel Jess Emma and the other staff(sorry don’t know your names) are an amazing team and really have handled everything amazingly during these busy days and always for that matter

Uber Eats advised delivery available in 20 mins. I went through process of making an order for six people. When completed order I got a message saying I live too far from restaurant to deliver??? I live 900 metres from Costa. So don't waste your time trying to order unless you live next door. Really stupid to allow me to attempt to order something I was never going to get.

Ordered from here via Uber Eats and was very impressed with timings, delivery, and quality of the food. The staff here word really hard to make the shop the best it can be.

This Coffee Shop chain is a very disappointing experience. The staff are unhelpful, the toilets are dirty, the coffee is bad, the toast is terrible, and the atmosphere is unwelcoming. It desperately needs a competent manager to motivate the lazy staff. There was no porridge available even at 11am. It is best to avoid this place altogether.
