Johnny's Italian Steakhouse

Food and service was very good. Loved the ambience and pictures of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr etc...all from a past era. Drinks were quite expensive, but it was the perfect place for a special celebration. Not a place where I can go regularly because of the cost, but again it was perfect for a special night.

We stopped here for dinner. It had outdoor seating and was nearby, which was ideal for Covid constraints. The menu is a bit expensive, but the food is pretty good. We were the only ones with a reservation at the time, and service was quick and attentive. Portions were perfect, just enough for a meal. Overall, I was very happy.

My husband and I have 2 steaks for the take-out last week and it was absolutely delicious! We'll go back. The prices corresponded to what you would expect for a high-quality steak dinner.

Restoration Weekly review: Going in, beautiful interior with discreet decor. Was welcomed by friendly staff, although the waitress as hostess did not seem well suited for the job (not rude, only not really attentive to incoming customers). The woman had Salmon Dip. The soup was pretty good, potato tubers with a nice piece of bacon, cheese and scalion above. Salmon Dip was also a hit with beautiful large salmon snakes, although some presentation points lost by being in a plastic, to-go-style container. For ducks, Salmon Salad for me and Steak, Steak, Steak for the woman. Our ambitious server took my salad out of the kitchen before they cleared the salmon, but manager caught it and corrected before I even noticed. With the steak, again missing in the presentation department. Salt was delicious, and Steak was a perfect medium rare (as ordered), although potatoes were served almost room temperature. To dessert I had Mocha Cake and the woman got Turtle Cheesecake. Mocha cake was good, and turtle cheesecake looks good, with home for taste test... Overall a decent experience with some good foods. They are still quite new and looks like they could use smaller tweets, but not big complaints. Food: 4 Service: 5 Ambience: 5 total: 4.5

Absolutely delicious!! I had the filet with horseradish crust and it was cooked perfectly, melt in your mouth.
