Ever So Sweet Bakery - Summerville

Sophisticated and delicious. I have a difficult time understanding the other reviewers who had a bad experience because my husband and I love this place! We can't get enough! It's the perfect marriage of aesthetics and tastiness. They use *real* ingredients, and clearly have an upscale, artistic vision, which I love. But, the most important thing is that everything we've tried is delicious. My mom visited from Missouri and could not stop eating the cream cheese pound cake, and everything I've tried has been amazing, from the passion fruit macaroons, to the Italian amaretto cake, they really know what they're doing. I am a cake lover, a baker, and a sugar junkie, so I find it really strange that other people have found the icing not up to par, or children wouldn't eat the cake. Hmmm. My children have devoured everything we've brought home from Ever So Sweet, and I haven't found them to miss the mark on anything. They exceed my expectations every time. If you appreciate high quality ingredients and the subtleties of gourmet cooking and baking, you will love it. Even so, it doesn't take a refined palate to appreciate their products. Like I said, my children love their cake and cupcakes.<br/ <br/ Besides, we've visited the other bakeries in town, and there's no comparison. Customer service is outstanding. Every time we go in, the staff is friendly and helpful. It's our pleasure to support this local business! Love it.

This place was our favorite spot for sweets... We miss it... Did it move or close down all together?

Nice treat. Stopped in on a whim to see what was offered. I got some coffee and tried the pound cake, which was moist and had a delicious icing. My only problem was that I had trouble consuming the entire slice!

THE BEST CHEESE DANISHES. This place has the MOST AMAZING Cheese Danishes! They are like Heaven in your mouth! I absolutely LOVE them! One day I had to have one and I waited until they opened knowing it would make me late for work! The leave I had to take was WELL WORTH IT!!!!

I love this bakery! The cinnamon rolls are awesome.
