Dawn's Family Deli - Summertown

This is now the second Saturday in a row that I haven't been able to reach them by phone, despite trying multiple times. I really enjoy their food and usually place an order every Saturday, but I'm not sure if they've closed down or if they're no longer accepting orders. Unfortunately, this will be my last attempt.

I visited the restaurant today at 3:45 PM to place an order for salads, and the door was still open. However, after I decided to leave without ordering, I heard the staff inform a kind girl that they were closed. The cook had a terrible attitude and was rude to the girls working there, even scolding one of them. Another customer walked in, and the cook shouted at the girl again, insisting that they were closed. The website states that the restaurant is open until 8 PM, but inside I was told it’s only open until 8 PM from Monday to Thursday. The food is excellent and worth the money, but how you treat your staff is much more important. You have lost my business, and I hope the sweet girl at the register finds a better job!

The staff and customers were friendly, and the food was great. I ordered the BBQ plate, which was delicious!

Very good food and they give you more than you can eat! Prices are very reasonable and everyone is friendly!
