Prince William Dining Room @ The Loyalist Country Inn

Stopped here for lunch. Each of us had a bowl of seafood chowder and a small salad. Salad ingredients were fresh. I had a traditional Cobb salad and my husband had the Greek. Both were very good. The best was the chowder as it had "hunks" of the various seafood items in it so you could taste each: shrimp, haddock, clam, etc.Other places in Nova Scotia, prior to this, served chowder where the seafood was all blended and you really didn't know what you were eating.Would definitely recommend the place at least for their chowder and salads.

I have been to this dining room many times, never had a bad experience. The Sunday brunches are amazing, staff are great.. Cheryl is the best! The meal is fantastic. Wide variety on the buffet from muscles to roast beef! Soups, salads, desserts and a fantastic price!

We were delighted to get such wonderful food in our hotel dining room...which typically don't carry great reputations! We tried breakfast and it was perfect with excellent service. That evening we had dinner, consisting of several different seafoods, and it was one of our best meals on this 2 week drive through the maritime provinces. Highly recommend dining here.

The Prince William Dining room was closed on Sunday evening but we were told that the Pub had the same menu. Our server was friendly. The food delicious. The Pub wasn't busy & we had lots of room at our table. The seafood chowder is the best I ever tasted! The Fish Platter was so tasty, (Haddock). Someone else had the 2 pc. Fish & Chips & enjoyed it.Sadly the lobster dinner didn't offer potato salad so I didn't order. Never will understand how a baked potato goes with a lobster dinner!! Perhaps the chef isn't a Maritimer...LOL

My husband and I look forward to breakfast at Prince William Dining Room whenever we visit Summerside. There is something to suit everybody. It's difficult to choose what to have as everything is so good! The ladies make sure the coffee is hot and fresh and service is friendly. Sunday brunch was very nice as well.We love this place
