This restaurant is small and it fills up fast, because the food is very good and the staff are excellent. The menu is pretty good with a nice selection of seafood or chicken and chips. Our group ordered the beer battered fish and chips. The portions are decent and prices are reasonable and you can request more or less chips or coleslaw. Everything is homemade here. The food came piping hot not too long after we ordered. Our server checked in with us to see how our meals were, and to refill our beverages. Overall a very nice dining experience which supports a local establishment.
This "Cozy" diner in Summerland will fool you. Quaint and casual setting on Victoria Rd near the famous Hospital Auxiliary Second Hand Store. Freshly battered everything. My fav is the seafood combo platter with dollops of homemade Tatar sauce.
We really enjoyed the fried clams and halibut and chips. The service was very friendly and the food certainly did not disappoint.
I was very excited to try this restaurant as I have heard many rave reviews. It wasn't great, it wasn't terrible. Just meh. The fish had a bit too much batter and not enough fish for my liking and the batter looked great but didn't have much of any flavour. The service was very good. I may try it again but I won't go out of my way to do so. It's ok.
As good as you as you would get in England, good portions well presented, comfortable surroundings , friendly and good service ; all at the right price
