Thai Cottage Sugar Land

I always visit this restaurant, and every time I do, I'm impressed. The food is incredibly fresh, and the service is very attentive. I would recommend trying the three-taste fish or the curries.

We called to inquire if we could dine in at 8:45, and they confirmed that they would serve us if we arrived before 9. However, when we arrived, they were very hesitant to serve us. As a result, we decided to leave. This was quite unprofessional, and I think they should have someone with better communication skills handling phone inquiries. On a positive note, the restaurant had a nice ambiance with plenty of greenery.

The food here is absolutely delicious! The spring rolls are packed with flavor, to the point where we decided to skip ordering a salad. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive, and he made sure to check in on us throughout our meal. However, I think the restaurant could use a bit of cleaning. A simple magic eraser would do wonders for the bathroom doors and the walls in the main dining area.

Visit for the first time after the renovation. they love the much brighter and an open concept floor plan. the food standard will never be maintained and disappointed. everything is always fresh and accurate to order, except today the Veg spring rolls seemed fried or perhaps overcrowded. ? excellent idea to serve Thai tea in a bottle with ice in a masonry jar!

Overall the sugar in the dishes overpowers the taste of the Thai food. The starter peanut sauce and sweet and sour sauce on the salad felt like I was eating straight sugar. Wasn't able to taste much else. The main course was presented well but the quantity was small and I thought it was very bland. I will not go here again when I am craving Thai food.
