Shawarma Boss - Sugar Land

One of the best shawarmas sandwiches I’ve ever had my only issue is it’s very little and expensive compared to the competition. At places like abu Omar for a dollar more you get a bigger sandwich fries pickled vegetables garlic sauce. Shawarma boss beef is very tender I can say that.

The man was extremely friendly. However, I asked if they had hot sauce and white sauces, and he was like yea I’ll give you extra! He promised me hot sauce, garlic sauce, and tahini. Then I get home and there’s literally no sauces in the bag. Not sure why he asked me to write him a google review if he wasn’t going to deliver on his promise. Not worth $12 either. I’m literally going back out for a second dinner because how disappointing this was. Pretty sure some of the other reviews must be fake also. Don’t fall for the trap like I did. Meat to rice ratio isn’t great either… pretty much tries to fill you up on rice. I’m disappointed

The food is truly something unique and new among all the various Arabian food options in Houston. The chicken is especially juicy and flavorful. Service was also great and efficient, and the chef let me try samples of the chicken and beef the first time I went there.I would encourage them to update their communication, since the opening hours listed on their Instagram page are inaccurate. They are stated to open at 3 pm, I'm sitting here at 3.23 pm, waiting to try that amazing chicken shawarma and no one is here yet.Their phone number listed on the truck is also ineffective or inactive at the moment, not sure why.Overall, the food is great but they should improve communication with customers. I wish them all the best. Ill continue waiting because I'm excited to try the chicken shawarma again.
